Job Description

Thousands of health professionals, logistical and administrative staff – most of whom are hired locally – work on programmes in some 70 countries worldwide to support it activities.
MSF – Holland, Kenya office is currently sourcing for a suitable candidate to fill the following position:
Main Purpose
Reporting to Head of Office, the incumbent will be responsible for process improvements through optimal utilization of an assigned platform, by management, development and maintenance of the functionality realized with it and by support of its end users.
Specific accountabilities include but are not limited to:
· Responsible for automation Tools Programming/Development & Management including implementing, maintaining, and supporting new and existing automation tools.
· Responsible for website management and upgrading the KO website in collaboration with the ICT HQ team to ensure functionality, Domain hosting & Security Management in Microsoft Azure, Input specific data and content into the website tools as required.
· Responsible for Online Catalogue Maintenance by Implementing and maintaining KO Online Catalogue, ensuring the product list is up-to-date with appropriate codes, photos, and videos, Collaborate closely with SPINCO and UF teams to ensure API Integration of Products in the online catalogue are updated and merged.
· Ensure data security and encryption for all KO websites, tools, and systems, Implement secure IT and data protocols in compliance with the Data Protection Act and MSF standards.
· Oversee the management of programming projects throughout the code development, testing, and implementation phases and provide regular updates and support project teams to ensure adherence to MSF standards.
· Prepare and conduct training manuals/presentations for KO tools and systems while developing detailed system guidelines for developers as a backup measure for HQ ICT.
· Performing unit testing and other forms of testing to ensure the quality and reliability of Applications, Identifying and resolving issues across the entire application stack.
· Ensuring the application is efficient, scalable, and secure by maintaining and upgrading existing modules and systems
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues with Applications
· Advise and support Nairobi BIOMED Hub (NBIOCA) on Audio/Video tutorials, AR/VR tutorials, and 3D printing initiatives.
· Keeping up-to-date with the latest releases and features of Systems
Requirements
Education
Bachelors / MSc in computer science and/ or business IT
Experience
At least 3+ years of experience in managing application development and Implementation or experience in similar position.
Languages
Fluent in English and Kiswahili essential
