Professor Damiannah M. Kieti Manono is the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (DVC) Strategy, Finance and Operations (SFO) at KCA University. With over 20 years of experience as an Associate Professor and tourism expert, she has made significant contributions to teaching, research, and consultancy in the field of tourism and wildlife. She has held esteemed positions such as Head of Department of Tourism and Tour Operations Management and Dean of the School of Tourism, Hospitality and Events Management at Moi University. Recognized for her leadership and enterprise, she received the Chancellor’s Excellence in Service Award in 2017 and serves as a leadership council member of the Sustainable Development Solutions Network, Kenya. As the founding editor of the African Journal of Tourism and Hospitality, she has published numerous articles and chapters, supervised multiple candidates, and conducted diverse projects related to tourism and conservation. Currently, she serves as the DVC of Strategy, Finance and Operations (SFO) at KCA University.
